Italy is certainly the country in the world which holds the most varied spectrum of coloured earths. Practically all colouring earths can be found in small quantities. Green earth, ochre, Sienna, black earth and umber are still being exploited in various areas. They are then processed in a small and family-owned factory located in Verona’s centre.
